Welcome to Paetow Driving School. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding legal agreement between you ("you" or "the student") and Paetow Driving School ("we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of our website, student portal, and all driver education services we offer (collectively, "Services").

By purchasing or scheduling our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

Article 1: Enrollment and Student Conduct

1.1. Service Requirements. All state-mandated requirements for classroom and in-car instruction must be met to receive a certificate of completion. All services must be completed within the timeframe specified at enrollment (typically 90 days).

1.2. Student Conduct. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for unsafe or disruptive behavior. Any student may be dismissed from a lesson or the program for appearing to be under the influence of any impairing substance, using a personal cell phone during instruction, or engaging in disrespectful conduct. No refund will be issued for a lesson terminated due to a conduct violation.

1.3. Student Responsibility. Students must present a valid Texas learner's permit at the beginning of every behind-the-wheel lesson. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the lesson, and the student will forfeit the full lesson fee.

Article 2: Payments, Refunds, and Fees

2.1. Payment. Full payment for all courses, packages, and lessons is required at the time of booking through our secure online payment system.

2.2. Refund Policy. * Before Services Begin: A full refund, minus a $50 administrative fee, will be granted if you cancel your enrollment in writing before the first scheduled lesson or class has occurred. * After Services Begin: Once the first lesson or class of any package has been completed, all fees are non-refundable. * Certificate Issuance: No refunds will be issued for any reason after a DE-964 or other official certificate of completion has been created.

2.3. Additional Fees. A fee of $50 will be charged to replace a lost or damaged DE-964 certificate.

Article 3: Scheduling, Cancellations, and Rescheduling

Our scheduling policies are essential to ensure we can serve all students effectively and respect our instructors' time.

3.1. Rescheduling a Lesson. You may reschedule a confirmed lesson at any time before the 48-hour notice period begins.

3.2. Cancellation Policy. We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel a scheduled behind-the-wheel lesson or road test appointment. * If you provide notice more than 48 hours in advance, you may cancel without penalty. * If you provide notice less than 48 hours in advance, or if you fail to appear for your appointment ("no-show"), you will forfeit the full fee for that scheduled lesson or service.

Article 4: Website and Digital Services

4.1. Intellectual Property. All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and training materials, is the exclusive property of Paetow Driving School and is protected by copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without our express written permission.

4.2. Digital Communications. By providing your email address and phone number, you consent to receive essential digital communications from us, including but not limited to: booking confirmations, appointment reminders, invoices, and important service updates.

Article 5: General Provisions

5.1. Disclaimer. While we are committed to providing the highest quality instruction, we do not guarantee that any student will pass their DPS road test or be issued a driver's license.

5.2. Limitation of Liability. Our liability is limited to the total amount you have paid us for our Services. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.

5.3. Governing Law. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any legal action shall be brought in the courts of Harris County, Texas.

5.4. Changes to Terms. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be posted on our website with the "Last Updated" date.
